Only that person existed, and I owed him everything because I "loved him". With the passing of months and a series of psychologically violent events such as "You should go to the gym", "I go out and you stay in the house", "Don't dress like that, you look like a bad person", "Are you stupid?"...and I could go on and on, I started to hate myself, to feel inadequate and wrong. His actions were my fault, and I don't know how many times I had to tearfully apologize, almost in despair from the terror of making a mistake again, seeing him angry, or seeing him walk away from me.
Over the years, I reached a point of no return. My self-esteem was low, and I didn't know what to do anymore. My sensitivity was my weakness. Or so I thought. I started researching on my own. I didn't want friends and family to know what was going on because I was ashamed. I researched various articles online and read women's magazines about toxic relationships, but I wanted more, and I realized one thing: That person was a pathological narcissist, and I needed to get away from him. Reading all those stories about toxic love relationships or super narcissistic employers, I didn't feel alone anymore.
I could succeed. That sensitivity I felt and that emotionality became my weapon against the world, against him. When I later left my toxic relationship behind, I realized that I needed to pass on and bring my story and strength to all those girls and women who feel judged, "weak", and alone. I resumed deeper research and interviewed various psychologists and psychiatrists, studied manuals on the human psyche, and listened to stories of toxic relationships. The fruit of my research was then written up, and I have made it available in an audio version containing four books in one so that you can listen to it repeatedly so that the words can get into your head. Thanks to this book, you will be able to recognize and confront narcissistic people by cornering them, increase your self-confidence, believe in your potential, and turn your sensitivity into your winning weapon.
